Orange "Madeleine"

Recipe "Orange" Madeleine "":

Iiiiii ... another Madeleine recipe - this timeorange version. Everything as simple as the previous, but with his twist. you can replace the orange peel or lemon to tangerine and thus little change aromatic accent if desired.

By the way, at home, these cookies are almost never outlive the day - eaten quickly and happily. As seeds :)

Ingredients 30 pieces:

3 eggs
Sugar 140 g
1 tsp vanilla essence
150 g butter
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon orange peel, finely grated
200 g flour
1 tsp baking powder


Melt the butter and set aside to the side.

Whisk eggs with sugar, orange zest, juice and vanilla essence, not too much.

Beat eggs with sugar

Add the sifted flour with baking powder and knead the dough. Add the oil and cooled down again to room temperature, knead.


We send the dough in the fridge for a couple of hours, and preferably overnight.

The oven heats up to 180 degrees. The dough is placed to the cups and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
