Chak-chak - Tatar national dish. However, by a strange coincidence, in my early childhood, when I was about cooking and did not think, in my mother's cookbook eighty-some years edition of this culinary masterpiece was registered under the name of "Kazakh cake." Here is the kitchen of the USSR.
Kazakh and Tatar - brothers forever
Ingredients for the dough:
- 5 eggs,
- 0.5 tsp salt
Knead the dough so that it can beroll. Roll out a layer about 3-4 mm thick and cut into pieces 0.5 by 1.5 cm. The whole thing is fried in deep fat until golden brown (this is best done in small portions, since the pieces are increasing at a rate of about twice).
1 cup sugar and 1 cup of honey (you canartificial) to mix and heat until Gray sugar is dissolved. This mixture fill the fried dough, mix and form a hill, quite tightly clutching the pieces. The main thing is not to burn your hands with melted sugar
Next, we give candy to harden, cut chak-chak into pieces and welling with tea (or what there who love :))
