Clear eggs and chop them carefully from all sides with a toothpick. Pour the soy sauce in a small (no more than 22 cm in diameter) saucepan with a thick bottom and over medium heat bring to a boil.
Put the eggs into the sauce and cook slightly reduce heat, turning constantly until the eggs become brown and the sauce has thickened, 3-5 minutes.
Remove the eggs from the sauce, pass on to a plate and cool. Serve with boiled rice or used for sandwiches.
