Recipe "thick tomato soup with meat and lentil":
I understand that now, this soup is not for everyone onweather. But it is very tasty, and I just have to share with you his recipe. Especially since not so long ago, someone complained about the scarcity of recipes with lentils.
Stuffing for the preparation of any appropriate - pork,beef, chicken or mixed. If desired, the frying of vegetables, you can add dried aromatic herbs - basil, thyme, oregano - individually or in a mixture.
Ingredients 6-8 servings:
1 medium onion
2 medium sweet pepper
2-3 cloves of garlic
400 g minced meat (I had pork)
1 tablespoon Worchester sauce
800 g tomatoes in their own juice
100g red lentils
500 ml of chicken or beef broth (or water)
salt to taste
Finely chop the onion, garlic and peppers.
In a saucepan, warm up the 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Put the onion and fry, stirring, for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and pepper, fry, stirring, for 5 minutes.
Put the stuffing in the pan and fry, breaking up lumps of mince spatula, until the meat loses pink color.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and the mashed tomatoes with juice. Put the lentils in a saucepan and stir.
Add the broth, bring to a boil. Add salt to taste, reduce heat to low and cook until cooked lentils and vegetables, about 15-20 minutes.
