The recipe "Cranberry-ginger sauce":

350 g of cranberries (fresh or frozen)
Sugar 180 g
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or sherry
The dipper mix cranberries, sugar, ginger and 2 tablespoons water.
Put on the stove, bring to a boil and cook for about 10-15 minutes over moderate heat. The syrup should thicken.
Remove sauce from heat, add the vinegar and stir. Let cool to room temperature and serve.
