With a name I have not confused: French pastries are the same - it's pasta and macaroon - is an American biscuit, which is prepared on the basis of coconut with egg whites, sometimes with the addition of chopped nuts - almonds, hazelnuts or other.

Cookies extremely simple and tasty. If you like coconut, of course :)

Ingredients 25 pieces:

270 g of coconut
4 egg whites
Sugar 150 g
100 g of chocolate - dark or milk

Composition

Proteins, beat with the sugar until foamy state (not to meringue).

Beat whites with sugar

Add the coconut and stir gently.

We spread the resulting mass in the pan with a spoon or forming balls.

Spread on a baking sheet

We put in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.

Let cool.

Melt the chocolate in a water bath or in a microwave oven. Dipped in chocolate biscuit bottoms, put on the laid parchment tray and send in the refrigerator to solidify for 15-20 minutes.

Put on parchment

Serve.
