Recipe "German potato soup":
Continuing a series of warming food recipes. I think the soup in this context will be very useful - especially since the recipes first courses I did not give a long time.
the composition of the simplest soup - carrot, onion, bacon and, of course, a lot of potatoes And the egg as a thickener. Although the latter did not a dogma, and may be omitted at the discretion / cook optional
Ingredients 6 servings:
1 stalk of leek
1 medium carrot
500 g of potatoes
1 tsp dried marjoram
1 liter chicken or beef broth
200 g of bacon (c / a or c / a)
salt to taste
Finely chop the onion. Leek cut in half along the wash, then cut crosswise. Carrots cut into small cubes, potatoes - average.
In a saucepan over medium heat 1 tablespoon warm up vegetable oil. Put the onion and fry, stirring, for 4-5 minutes, until translucent state. Add the remaining vegetables and marjoram and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Pour the broth into the pan.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook the soup under the cover until tender vegetables, about 20-25 minutes.
While the vegetables are cooked, chop bacon and fry over a high heat until browned.
Fried bacon with the fat put in a pot of soup.
Egg whisk with a fork and with constant stirring, enter into the soup. Heated for 1-2 minutes and serve.
