The recipe for "tomato soup":
In early childhood - in the early 90's - Ionce I tried the tomato soup cake mix from a bag. For me - a child vzroschennogo on soup and borscht - taste then it seemed unusual, and ... just magical. Many years later, I decided to cook a healthy and natural version of tomato soup. It turned out just fine.
This soup can be served by itself or with different additives - mini meatballs, crackers, fried bacon and slices of smoked chicken.
Ingredients 6 servings:
1 medium onion
60 g butter
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
40 g flour
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 liter chicken stock
2 cans of 800 g tomatoes in their own juice
2-3 sprigs fresh thyme
salt and pepper to taste
additives to taste (I have small meatballs)
Finely chop the onion.
In a frying pan melt the butter with the vegetable. Put in a pan and fry the onion over medium heat until translucent state, about 5 minutes.
Add the flour and tomato paste. Fry, stirring, for about 1 minute.
We shift into a saucepan, pour the broth, put the crushed tomatoes with juice and thyme.
Bring to a boil and cook for 30 minutes.
We take out the thyme.
With immersion blender grind the soup.
Poured into a bowl and serve with selected fillers.
