Tomatoes stuffed with onions


  • 8 medium-hard tomatoes
  • 4 medium onions
  • 3 loaf of stale white bread
  • a small bunch of parsley
  • vegetable oil

Step by step recipe for cooking

Step 1

Stale bread, grate or chop chunks and chop in a blender to a fine crumb.

Step 2

We remove the parsley stalks (they are not needed). parsley leaves finely chop.

Step 3

Onions clean, finely chop. In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil, put the onion and fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 10 minutes.

Step 4

Add to the onion bread, parsley, salt and pepper.

Cut each tomato in the upper third - "cap". With a sharp spoon remove the seeds with a liquid, add to the pan with bread and warm.

step 6

Fill the tomato bread stuffing. Put in a pan with a thick bottom, sprinkle with oil and set over medium heat. Slightly fry under the lid for 5-7 minutes.
