  • 4 medium cucumber
  • 400 g fat sour cream market
  • 250g salted herring fillets
  • 1 white onion
  • average bunch of dill
  • 1 teaspoon gelatin with slide
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

Step by step recipe for cooking

Step 1

Soak gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water for 20-25 minutes.

Step 2

Onion cut into small cubes, place in a heatproof bowl, drizzle with vinegar and pour boiling water. After 1 min. fold in a colander and pour over cold water. Drain.

Step 3

Tarendis with herring

Cucumbers cut in half lengthwise if large seeds - remove their sharp spoon. The flesh cut into small cubes. Season with salt and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Herring cut into cubes the same size as thecucumbers. Fold the cucumber in a sieve, released from their juice, add the sour cream, stir. Gelatin with water in a saucepan, heat almost to boiling, until it is completely dissolved; pour in sour cream, mix thoroughly.

Tarendis with herring

Add the sour cream onion, cucumber, herring and dillpepper. Mix and spread by the glass or silicon molds for muffins. Put in the fridge for 4-6 hours Serve cold -. Or directly by the glass, or removing from the molds upside down.
